What Does Mean?

No two people have exactly the same signs of depression, but it is important to know the most common signs. You should be concerned if you have any of these that last more than a week:

Feeling sad, emotional and sensitive
Not caring about the things you normally enjoy
Feeling numb or overwhelmed
Avoiding/not wanting to see or talk to friends
Getting angry or hostile over little things
Having trouble concentrating or focusing
Feeling low-energy and tired all the time
Taking risks with your health or life
Being nervous or restless
Hurting yourself (cutting/self-injury) on purpose
Recent change in sleeping/eating habits
Using alcohol or drugs to try to feel better
Feeling guilty, worthless or not good enough
Thinking about dying and suicide
